Innoesys was founded in May 2015. Its core shareholders and founders, leveraging their extensive experience in developing electronic systems and applications across both the private and academic sectors, decided to establish a startup dedicated to creating and manufacturing innovative products.
Its core activities encompass the promotion and implementation of innovative products, the management of its online store (www.devobox.com) specializing in prototyping products, as well as the design, manufacturing, and market commercialization of electronic systems. In 2015, the company participated in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub of Technopolis City of Athens (INNOVATHENS) and the Athens Startup Incubator (THEA), where it received an honorary distinction from the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Additionally, the company actively participates in exhibitions, such as Startup Safari, and has been recognized in competitions including the GFOSS (Open Technologies Alliance) Open Design Competition. Innoesys specializes in developing embedded systems software (firmware) across a wide variety of microprocessors. Furthermore, it provides end-to-end design and development of both hardware and software for integrated systems, delivering innovative solutions and manufacturing comprehensive products for the global market.
Innoesys has partnered with major private enterprises on diverse technical projects, including remote fountain control systems, wireless management of emergency lighting, and the monitoring and control of highway illumination networks. Concurrently, the company has established strong collaborations with academic institutions. Notable examples include working with the Agricultural University of Athens to develop wireless environmental sensors, and partnering with the University of West Attica on research and development for wireless sensors dedicated to patient vital sign monitoring.
